UK producer and singer-songwriter, Calvin Harris, has achieved monumental success since the release of his debut studio album, I Created Disco (2007). His following hits "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls" both shot to top 10 in the UK. Two years later, Harris hit the number one spot with the single "I'm Not Alone" from his chart-topping second album Ready for the Weekend. His third studio album 18 Months (2012) broke another record, becoming the first album to contain eight entries in the UK's Top 10 Singles Chart, surpassing Michael Jackson's previous feat. Harris' also took international fame with Motion (2014), reaching number two on the UK and number five on the US Billboard 200. Moving into 2017, Calvin released his fifth album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, peaking at number 1 on the US Dance/Electronic Albums Chart, as well as hitting the top two in the UK and US. The sequel to Funk Wav, Vol. 2, is set for release in 2022. Calvin has racked up an impressive 18 Brit Award nominations over the years, claiming British Producer and British Single of the Year in 2019. Five Grammy nominations followed, including an accolade for Best Music Video in 2013 and a Ivor Novello Award. He topped Forbes' list of world's highest-paid DJs a staggering six times from 2013 to 2018 and was named the Top Dance/Electronic Artist at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. His influence in the UK earned him recognition on Debrett's 2017 list of most influential people.
