FKA Twigs, the English singer, songwriter and dancer born Tahliah Debrett Barnett in 1988, rose to fame in London at 17 as a backup dancer for high-profile musicians. She debuted her own music with 2012's EP1 and her debut studio album, LP1, skyrocketed to the top of the UK Albums Chart and earned a spot on the US Billboard 200. It even received a Mercury Prize nomination. After a brief interlude, FKA Twigs returned with the EP M3LL155X followed by her second studio album Magdalene in 2019. This year, she joined Atlantic Records for the release of Caprisongs mixtape. Constantly praised for its genre-bending approach blending electronic music, trip hop, R&B, and avant-garde, FKA Twig's work is nothing short of astonishing.
