Bio
Paul Clifton Anthony George, born May 2nd, 1990, is a renowned American professional basketball player and current member of the Los Angeles Clippers. Better known as "PG-13", he has earned seven NBA All-Star and six All-NBA Team acknowledgments, in addition to four selections to the NBA All-Defensive Team. His basketball career started with his high school team at Knight High School, followed by two years at Fresno State Bulldogs. His talent was soon spotted - getting drafted by Indiana Pacers in the 2010 NBA draft, George was awarded NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors. In 2013, George was widely recognized for his progress when he earned the NBA Most Improved Player award and his first All-Star selection. But the biggest challenge came in 2014 during the tryouts for the United States national team for the FIBA Basketball World Cup. Unfortunately, he suffered a broken leg, leaving him out of action for most of the following season. Fortunately, he made a full recovery, re-emerging into an All-Star once again in 2016, and winning Olympic gold. Following two years with Oklahoma City Thunder, he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2019.
