Bio

The Spinners, an American rhythm and blues vocal group hailing from Ferndale, Michigan, have been a mainstay in the music industry since their formation in 1954. With producer Thom Bell at the helm, they enjoyed a series of hit records and albums over the course of the 1960s and 1970s. To this day, only Henry Fambrough remains as the original member amongst their touring lineup. Notably, both in the UK and internationally, the group has also been known as the Detroit Spinners and the Motown Spinners due to their earlier recordings with the Motown label. On June 30, 1976, The Spinners were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 2015, they received a nomination for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
